He is a member of the Les Eléments chamber choir (conducted by Joël Suhubiette) and the Maitrise du Conservatoire de Toulouse (conducted by Mark Opstad). He performs regularly as a soloist, mainly in the oratorio repertoire.

Fascinated by vocal music and the ancient repertoire from the age of 14, he founded the “Differentia musice” ensemble in 1997 and in 2008, with 4 singer friends, founded the “Il Canto d’Arione” ensemble, with which he sang for 5 years. Guilhem Caroff : organist and pianist-repeater

Guilhem Caroff, born in 1991, is a harpsichordist, organist and continuo player (accompaniment on the positive organ or harpsichord in early music). He also holds a degree in musicology and a state teaching diploma. He began studying the piano at the age of 7 at the Auterive music school. At the age of 10, he was admitted to the Toulouse Conservatoire in Yasuko Bouvard’s class, where he studied harpsichord before joining Stéphane Bois’s organ class at the age of 17. He graduated from the Toulouse Conservatoire with first-class honours in organ and music composition.

Owner of the Orgue des Minimes since 2011, he teaches organ and introduces the public to the instrument through the concerts he gives, on the occasion of heritage days, national organ days and projects with music schools.

His training as a keyboard player (piano, harpsichord, classical organ, Hammond organ, harmonium) enables him to tackle all musical repertoires (classical, traditional, contemporary music) and to collaborate on a wide range of projects, such as organ and theatre, organ and dance, organ and laser, concerts bringing together all keyboard instruments, and duets (organ and the viola de spalla, organ and gaïta, organ and bombard, organ and trumpet, etc.).

Nathalie Accault : singing teacher

After studying viola and voice at the Ecole Nationale de Musique de Montauban, Nathalie Accault studied musicology at the Université de Toulouse le Mirail (now the Université Toulouse Jean-Jaurès), where she discovered choral conducting with Alix Bourbon.

She holds a DEA in musicology, and in parallel with her university studies and her studies at the Toulouse Conservatoire (musical training, analysis), she sings in the choirs of the Opéra du Capitole and the Antiphona ensemble.

She perfected her choral conducting skills with Jean-Marc Andrieu in Montauban and Rolandas Muleïka at the Toulouse Conservatoire, where she obtained her diploma in choral conducting, then in Masterclasses (Bernard Têtu, etc.).

A regular participant in workshops and projects with other choirmasters, singing teachers and stage directors, she particularly appreciates teamwork and is regularly called upon by other choirmasters as a vocal coach.

As a choral conductor, she has directed and continues to direct large choirs: La Schola du Moustier (Tarn et Garonne) and La Chorale de Cahors (Lot), and now Cant’Orens. She regularly brings these choirs together for ambitious orchestral projects: Mozart’s Mass in C, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater and Mass in D minor, Théodore Dubois’ 7 dernières paroles du Christ, Völinger’s Latin Jazz Mass, Whitbourn’s Son of God Mass, …

After 3 years as a choral singing teacher in children’s classes at the Toulouse Conservatory, she has been associate conductor of the Eclats children’s and youth choir (artistic director François Terrieux) since 2018.

She also directs smaller ensembles in Toulouse: Cantabile (women’s choir), les Pléiades (mixed ensemble of 12 singers).

Her dual role as choral conductor and singing teacher means that the beauty of the choir’s sound, its roundness and homogeneity, the accuracy of intonation, respect for the text, the precision of consonants and the clarity of vowels are at the top of her artistic standards.
